About Me

I was born in Kuching,E.Malaysia. Completed my Senior Cambridge and left for India. I started work with a Paint Organisation in the Front Office. Got married in 1979 and left for the plantations in Kerala,South India.I was a stay at home Mum till we relocated to a city in Cochin, where I worked with friends who owned a heritage hotel. I did Reservation, Housekeeping and Public Relations. In 2002, we decided to come back to Malaysia and it was here that I decided to do a course in teaching English Language to adults. I enjoyed imparting my knowledge of the language and also my life experiences with students who are grappling with the language.

Teaching Experience

Professional teaching degrees:

I have an Access Certificate in English Language(ACE) teaching from the City and Guilds of the London Institute. I am also a registered trainer with the HRDF, Malaysia in Train the Trainer programme conducted by them..

I am a free lancing trainer in English Language skills, and take on corporate training. I did a six month training programme for the staff at the Sheraton Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. After that stint, I took on a 2 year training of the staff at a resort on a private island, called the Pangkor Island Resort in Malaysia.I am now taking on shorter training programmes and had a 3 day Writing skills camp with the senior officers of the Election Commision.Since its becoming a problem to leave home, I have been wanting to teach online and I found your site. I look forward to coaching students and adults in English Language.
