You can become a teacher by registering yourself via this link. Just follow all the steps and before you know it you will be an online Myngle teacher!

No, you do not. You can opt in for sharing your material for editing or downloading by other teachers, but this is not mandatory. You can choose to keep your slides private.
If you choose to share your material, other teachers using your material will be able to improve and add to it. This way you can have more help in creating your own perfect course, better for you and for students!
Also, if a group of teachers is using the same material with positive results (that is: lessons with very good feedback from students), they can apply as a group to become a MyngleSchool. That will give special visibility to the group of teachers, plus the teacher who initially shared the material that is used will have additional visibility within the MyngleSchool as the originator of the program.
No, in fact anyone can become a teacher or student on Myngle. However, there are some basic requirements: you will need broadband Internet connection (cable, DSL, etc.), a sound card, speakers and microphone, and you will need to download Skype and create a username. You will be able to join Myngle using a Mac, Linux or Windows computer.
A student books the lesson he/she prefers with the teacher he/she prefers. The student uses the Myngle system to determine date and time of the class. The teacher will be notified of the booking by Myngle and can accept or decline the booking.
If the lesson is accepted, the students will be asked to pay for the class. When class is paid, the teacher will confirm payment. The whiteboard (or digital classroom) will only be opened after confirmation of payment by the teacher.
Myngle advises you to use PayPal for being secure, fast and easy when sending or receiving online payments.
No, you can post your teaching profile for free. Myngle charges 18% commission per lesson when you start teaching. This fee is charged for use of Myngle's platform and services, PayPal fees and includes VAT.
No, as long as you can provide value, you can become a teacher. For example, a native speaker may offer conversational practice or a beginner's level class.
The choice of how many hours you want to teach on Myngle is up to you. You can teach a few hours per week or full time. However, if you have confirmed a lesson and a student had paid for the tuition, you must teach those hours. The system allows you to reschedule the lesson, but that will negatively impact the student.
The more hours you are available to teach, the more flexibility that offers to students, and therefore you have a higher chance of being chosen.
Teachers will set their own prices. These can be fixed or variable depending on your preferences and market supply and demand. The higher your rating as a teacher (based on your students' feedback), the higher bargaining power you will have and will be able to charge a premium. But in the end, the pricing policy is up to you. We suggest that if you do not know what price to charge, you have a look at other teachers already online offering a similar program.

PayPal offers many benefits for students and teachers:
If you are a teacher:
Haven’t tried PayPal yet? Discover it now! You can sign up at http://www.paypal.com
A teacher has a public feedback rating which is made up of comments and ratings left by his or her previous students. These comments and ratings are available in the public profile of the teacher. This way you can see how the teacher was valued by his or her former students.
As soon as the lesson starts without having been cancelled or rescheduled before, the money paid to the tutor will be considered not refundable.
Myngle will send you an electronic bill per e-mail at the end of each month. You can pay your bill using Paypal to payments@myngle.com or via electronic bank transfer.
Students do not pay Myngle for the use of the platform. Myngle charges teachers 18% commission per lesson to teachers.
To assist some teachers in their Myngle experience, there will be a few courses ready for you to use, what we call "shared courses". So far we will open a Mandarin course that you can use. It can be found at:
http://www.myngle.com/beta/course/index/show/id/4
Just click on "Add to my courses" and it'll be under your name as well for you to use on your classes. We'll continue to build and add more courses to it, so check back often.
Later we will create more courses in French, Italian and other languages!
Meanwhile, you can also find lesson templates at:
http://www.myngle.com/blog/2007/11/10/lesson-slide-templates
All you will need to do is translate the text on it from English to your own language.
Also, the courses you have already created can be shared for other teachers to use. This way you can have more help in creating your own perfect course, better for you and for students!
This is for the teachers:
