French Conversation for Beginners is a course for complete beginners, or for those who have learned French previously and who want to review the language using a new approach.  The course has a lot of visuals designed to support the speaking activities.  A big emphasis is put on the listening and speaking skills, however students are also introduced to French grammar.  Each lesson introduces a new set of vocabulary and gives the students plenty of opportunities to practice using the new words, so they become confident using them in a variety of situations. During the first lessons, some English is used (unless students wish otherwise) but very quickly students gain enough confidence to follow most of the instructions in French.  It is recommended to start with lesson one.  However, if a topic is of special interest to a student, it can be studied as a stand alone lesson.
