The Myngle courses change!
Hi Mynglers!
We have some big news for you.You could almost call it a little revolution of Myngle; on our way to always be one step ahead. So whats new?
We have enhanced our course creation process to allow teachers to choose and customize their lessons as they wish!
Here is an overview of the changes:
1) Teachers can add asynchronous learning resources, to be used by the students before or after their classes. They can:
* Add podcasts, flashcards, youtube videos, games or newspapers to their courses
* Upload pdf, doc, ppt files to their courses
* Record Podcasts in the Myngle Library and add them to their courses.
* Link and add any content already present in the Myngle Library or the Myngle Shop.
2) Teachers can sell these resources or offer them for free.
3) Teachers can set these resources as public or private.
4) In the payment page, students have the option to buy lessons as well as “extra study resources”.
We hope everyone likes these changes and will take advantage of the great, new possibilities that come along with them…Keep on myngling!
Aenn

That’s great. Where do I go to start uploading materials?

Simply go to your My myngle page then, on the left side, click on courses.
After that, click on a course. On the very bottom of the page you will see the option resources and next to it you see edit.Click there and get started with adding resources!

Terrific! Will the materials be displayed only by course, or is there a way for students to look at all of the materials at once?
Thanks for these new developments–I think they’ll be great for teachers and students!

I’d like to share large Anki flashcard decks with my students. They are in .anki format; with added media (sound recordings for the words) they are in .zip format. Will this be possible soon?

About Lilith’s question: These materials will be visible on the course profile page for students, on the class or package buying page it’ll also be listed and in the library if the teacher has added any new newspaper, podcast, flashcard website, etc.
@Judith Meyer: Unfortunatly, at this moment it isn’t possible to upload flashcards to your course. You can only link to an existing website that already has these flashcards.
