More website changes!
Hello everyone!
Last week I mentioned that you will see some nice changes on the myngle website! And today you will notice that many things have already changed which will increase the usability and provide you with a better myngle experience! Apart from the new graphics and layout you will notice several new additions in our pages.
Now all students that visit their personalised homepage will have their own personal learning journal! Using up to 60 characters, you can let everyone know how much you enjoyed your last class, what language you are learning now or just update your status! The message also appears on the user’s profile and the listing page so everyone can catch up with you doing!
Additionally you can see there how many times the user’s profile has been visited already! On your homepage you can also be reminded, through the Promo Area, of promotions that are available to you and can receive alert messages about your classes, packages and teachers. Teacher’s pages are similar to the student’s pages, including the learning journal and the alert box with relevant messages about rescheduling of lessons, requests for time changes on classes or information on group classes!
There are more changes throughout the site but for now I will let you all discover them! I’ll write more about it in the following days. We try to improve you learning experience, so tel us what you think about it!

great changes… only one problem.. on the first page of my personal page, the first few comments say: Have you given up teaching –personal consultation etc
the links dont click and also i dont think its a nice message to see as you open your page… since im a new teacher it feels strange. because ive just started and still waiting for students so to read that feels that extra pressure… hope you understand..
other than that good job!

Thank you for your comments about the new design. I’m glad you like them!
You are right about the “personal consultation” message. It is an automatically generated message based on your last class. So if your last class was mandarin, it would read something like “have you given up on your mandarin”.
But we agree, personal consultation shouldn’t be included in this type of message and it will be changed asap : )
