Myngle and LANCELOT SchoolTM GmbH are pleased to announce a joint scholarship for all the active teachers on Myngle.

We are offering the opportunity to enroll in a 10 weeks course leading to an official EU certification as LANCELOT Online Trainer. The course was developed by  Universities and a total of 23 European partners in EU funded LANCELOT project (2005-2007) and holds the value of 9 University credits in a graduate degree.

The LANCELOT Course consists of 10 modules over a 10 weeks period with a total of approximately 50-70 hours work for participants. The certification process should commence within 6 months of the end of the course after a period of practical  teaching experience in a virtual classroom. The assessment includes an e-portfolio and an evaluation of observed teaching by an external assessor.

Scholarship criteria

To qualify for a scholarship which includes course and certification the following criteria must be met:

• applicants must demonstrate that they will professionally benefit from the course, and how they will apply the skills learned and developed on the course
• applicants must be active Myngle teachers

From the entries one scholarship winner will be chosen by a panel made up of Myngle and LANCELOT SchoolTM GmbH.
An additional nine applicants have the opportunity to take the LANCELOT course at a  largely reduced rate of 95 EUR through the generous sponsorship by Myngle. This offer includes the course but not the certification.
All others who do not qualify to be part of the first 10 Mynglers may be able to take the course and the certification at a Myngle discount of 30%. More information on the retail prices can be found here.

To apply for the scholarship please complete the form that you can download here and send it to ask@myngle.com using ‘Myngle-LANCELOT scholarship’ as a subject of the email. All fields are required. Application deadline is 24 July 2009. The winners will be announced on Myngle’s blog and forum.
