About Clément
Hi everybody,
as I came to work at Myngle’s office recently, I would like to introduce myself to the Myngle community.
I’m a 26 year-old french, and yes, I do speak foreign languages
Being a language passionate myself, I’ve been enthusiastic about Myngle right away.
What about me? Well, I was born in Paris, and I studied International Business for 5 years. I spent one year in Shanghai studying business and mandarin. This has been the greatest experience for me and I must confess that somehow I became kind of geek concerning the Chinese language and culture… I really like it!
I also speak a bit of German, which I studied a few years at school and university. Besides, I started to learn a bit of portuguese. I felt in love with Brazil during a backpack trip three years ago and I’d really like to be able to speak the language. Finally, I’m about to start Arabic and I’m really excited about it.
Concerning my professional experience… Well, it is small but it did interest me a lot. Among the different internships I had during my study, two of them were especially a great experience. I’ve been selling french wine in Germany and… German beer in Toronto. That is how I decided to continue going overseas to promote things I like, things I believe in.
And finally that’s how I ended up in Amsterdam, living with two Chinese, isn’t that original? My ambition is now to let the world know about Myngle! I strongly believe it will soon be seen as one of the most remarkable projects of this decade.
So, I wish Myngle and its community the best for 2009!
Cheers!

Hi Clement,
Yes, I saw some new faces in your part during the last holidays and I saw you there. Though I am only a teacher of Myngle, I would warmly welcome you to help us in mYngle. It’s great to have many people helping each other.
May I also tell you my name? I am Klara, a Tagalog and English teacher. I read what you wrote that you are a kind of linguist. That’s great! What about adding Tagalog (my native language) to the list of languages that you speak?….heheheehe…
Anyway, you are lucky as we are for we are all in MYngle.
WELCOME.
Klara

Hi Clément, good to know you like Chinese language and culture! I think you must have had a great year in Shanghai. I used to live and work in Shanghai as well and I love it and always want to go back. I saw you’re in Myngle Mandarin teacher list and so now you work with the Myngle team. Hope you’ll have a fantastic time working there and if you want to practice Mandarin, let me know.
