New feature live! Language Library page
Hello Mynglers! As a birthday gift to you, today we’re making live our Language Library page. Right now we have pages for English, French, German, and Spanish!
In the library page, students will find a lot of resources to practice the language they’re learning. You can find there now links to Audiobooks, Radio, Videos, Podcasts, E-books, Newspapers and Games! All of this with the help of our wonderful volunteer Language Ambassadors that will be moderating all of this content.

You will also have a chat room per language, a translation tool, and for some languages a “Word of the Day” widget!
Student and teachers can also submit links and suggestions for more content. Just find a URL (please include “http://…”) , pick a category and submit!

Plus, teachers are able to record their own podcast in Myngle!!

All of the podcasts recorded for a language will be grouped so students can download and listen to them anytime and anywhere they choose.
We hope this extra tool will help our community members in their foreign language learning objectives.

Hi Danilo
As far as learning a second language is concerned, can I put in a word for Esperanto?
Although it is a living language, it helps language learning as well. Four schools in Britain have introduced this neutral international language, in order to test its propaedeutic values.
The pilot project is being monitored by the University of Manchester, and the initial results are very encouraging. These can be seen at http://www.springboard2languages.org/Summary%20of%20evaluation,%20S2L%20Phase%201.pdf
An interesting video can be seen at http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8837438938991452670 and a glimpse of Esperanto at http://www.lernu.net

Now we need more teachers volunteering for becoming the ambassadors for the other languages, so that we can provide students a full library with many many languages.
By the way, Arabic is just added and live
