You in Myngle video?
Hi Mynglers,
as already announced in the forum, we are launching an exciting project to spread the Myngle’s message across the world! Would you like to become a Myngle’s testimonial?
Myngle would like to create a video that tells everyone what Myngle is.
And who, better than you, could do it?
Don’t worry it’s something very easy and fun!
Just record a brief video with you close-up talking about Myngle and especially why people should try Myngle.
Just a short list of questions that could help you finding the right words:
- What is Myngle to you?
- What is your favourite aspect of Myngling?
- Why Myngle is special?
- What about the other Mynglers?
- What of Myngle you couldn’t quit?
- Why people should learn languages? Why on Myngle?
- Tell a funny story about Myngle (a student, a strange situation, etc…)
- Say bye in you languages
And some guidelines for the video:
- Try several times and keep everything (errors, laughts, etc…)
- Look straight at the camera/web-cam
- Be natural and creative
- Pay attention to the audio: be sure that there aren’t noises around you and control your microphone level (not too low, not too high)
- Pay attention to the light, videos with a low light will not be useful!
- Have fun and the video will be funny
How to do it:
There are many possibilities to record a video, let me tell you some of them:
Use your webcam sofware
Probably there is a button to capture video. Please save it in a stardard format (avi, mov, wmv, mpg). See “how to send it” below.
Use a video-camera
1.Record your video
2.Connect the camera with your PC
3.Launch Windows Movie Maker
4.Import “from a digital video camera”
5.Drag the video on the timeline at the bottom of the window
6.Publish to “this computer”, use default settings and save the file
7.See “how to send it” below.
Use YouTube Quick Capture Video.
You have to create a YouTube account if you don’t have one, but it’s quick and easy.
1.Click on the link above
2.Click “allow” to make your webcam active
3.Record your video
4.Click on publish
5.Set the video details and send us the link
If you have problems just let us know and we will find another solution.
How to send it
If you have choosen to record your video with your webcam or your video camera, probably the files is quite heavy. To send it you can use websites as YouSendIt that enables you to send files up to 2 Gb.
