In the spotlight: Teacher Klara
This time Myngle teacher Klara is in the spotlight:
Magandang araw sa inyong lahat. (Good day to all of you.)
I am Maria Klara, a Filipino and a licensed teacher. I finished my Bachelor of Science in Education with Biology and English as my specialization. I have been teaching these fields for more than 2 decades in the secondary level since the start of my employment. While employed , I pursued my higher education in Master of Arts in Education in Biology which qualified me as an instructor in the university.
Honestly, teaching was not my first choice. As a young girl, I had wild dreams of maintaining the ecological balance and seeing a peaceful and unified human race. These big dreams on mine drove me to burn my eyebrows every night which gave me awards at the end of every school year. As a young dreamer, I thought that becoming a nurse would help me achieve this hallucination.
As I trudged life, the spaces between the commencement and the door of my reverie became wider and wider. The lingering thoughts in my mind were so idealistic and seemed beyond possibility.
I shifted to another course knowing it’s where I can find a better “solution” to my dream -TEACHING - the noblest profession. As a teacher, I am touching the 3 H’s of a person. HEAD (knowledge), HEART (emotions) and HAND (out reach). I found the the basic and main ingredients of my ambition. Indeed, teaching per se is a vocation.
Then I found Myngle. I am very proud and grateful to this unique “institution”.When the founder, Madame Marina and her co-founder, Sir Egbert presented their platforms, I appreciated and admired their vision-mission. Madame Tetyana, who readily assists the teachers and students, is a Guardian Angel. Sir Danilo, who skillfully and intelligently works on his virtual classroom, is so amazing and so are the other Myngle staff.
I have been with Myngle for 5 months now and its progress is so fast and beyond comparison. I have many reasons for such. Myngle was founded based on a vision-mission and laced by ideals and principles. Thus, the Myngle team has a Christian goal. I felt this even at the beginning. My perspective about Myngle was intensified as I mingle with the ever supportive and approachable staff . Their common Christian goal and open hearts will surely make Myngle lasting for the next generations.
One of these days, I may not find a student to teach in Myngle but the thought of mingling with people around the world is enough for to think that one of my wild dreams somehow came into reality.
I have a full trust in Myngle in carrying out its unselfish goal which make its staff and teachers more than just ” THE UNSUNG HEROES.”

Hi Klara,
I wannb to be the first to congratulate you, as I am really glad you contacted me long ago when making your first step in Myngle.
You bring to Myngle the spirit and soul that makes it really a special place. As you also mentioned, it goes beyond teaching grammar rules, it is about helping someone else learning something that will be useful or simply beautiful.
Marina
