Hands-on Project Manager with technology focus
Myngle is seeking a visionary Technology-focused Project Manager with entrepreneurship drive to lead the technology development of Myngle.com - a new venture launched end 2007 with the ambition of realizing ‘the next big thing’ in the Internet: transform the way world learns languages and bring online language education to the mass market. The PM is jointly responsible for establishing the company’s technical vision and leading the company’s (partially offshore) technology development. The PM plays an integral role in the company’s strategic direction, development, and future growth, but also plays a part in the actual development of Myngle.com, even by hands-on coding. The PM is the connection between local programmers, off shore companies and the Management Team. The PM will report to the CEO.
What is Myngle?
Myngle is the online global marketplace for language learning where VOIP is the medium that connects teachers to students. Live one-on-one lessons are being taught with, at times, over 10.000 kilometers between student and teacher. While sitting in front of their computers, both teacher and student do not have to leave home to have lessons. Myngle does not employ any teachers, it simply connects supply and demand. Myngle has already received first financing, and has a very senior founding team coming from The Boston Consulting Group, eBay, Procter& Gamble, Philips, Sara Lee, Berlitz and ABN-AMRO.
