Marina gets plastered after record bookings
Hello dear Myngle community!
We have good news and bad news. I’ll start with the good ones
Yesterday we had an all time record of daily bookings with an impressive ramp-up of activity! Well done to both our teachers and students! We’ll be happy to help you myngle even more actively!
The bad news
Marina, our CEO, broke her foot, got plastered after the record bookings, and now has to stay in bed for a week and wear the cast in the summer heat of the Netherlands for another 5-6 weeks…
However, as always, Marina is in positive mood and keeps myngling away.
Let’s hope our captain will be shipshape again soon!

Oh, Marina. It’s too late to read Tetyana’s bad news about your broken foot. But as they say, “It’s better late than never.” And “NEVER” should be never in Mynglre, am I right? I will tell you a story so that you have something to read while in cast. We usually had an Intramural in the school where I used to teach. The school body was divided into 4 teams and they had to battle for the Gold Trophy in different sports as well as in the musical-literally events. The fight was very close among the 4 teams. The last determiner event for the championship was the 400 M dash, therefore each team must select the runner. (selection was done 2 weeks prior to the actual event). But alas! In one of the best runner, Mario had a twisted ankle during the pre-run and had to be bandaged. His team was desperate because he couldn’t be replaced due to our strict policy. Hi team said, “Gosh, Mario. We got no chance to be the champion.” Mario replied, “I will run and I can do it>” The day came and the playing ground was full of spectators. Mario was there. Then the whistle blew. 400 M dash is along way to run!. Mario was running slowly in pain but with determination. He stumbled 3x and was writhing in pain. But what is nice above his pain was the cheers and yells of the crowd specially his team. “Mario, go!” “Mario, gO!” “You can do it!” The 3 competitors were exhausted in the last lap. Mario was also exhausted , ,i pain but determined to win the race. “Go, go. Marioooo…!” The whistle blew…and… believe it or not….. Mario made it…. His team and the people around him supported his determination and perseverance. MARIO COULD BE YOU, MARINA.. YOU MAY READ BETWEEN THE LINES AND YOU WILL FIND MY MESSAGE. Get well!!!. God bless you.

When I was very young, probably around 12 or 13 an older friend of mine asked me if I wanted to go to a shop with him. I said I didn’t have any problems with it and happily went along, on the way there he said he was meeting up with a girl and asked if I’d mind talking to her sister. Her sister was severely handicapped and in a wheelchair. Of course I didn’t find this out until I met her.
The girl then decided she didn’t like me and proceeded to insult me.
