In the spotlight; teacher Bercegeay

Hi all,

This time teacher Bercegeay is in the spotlight. You can view her profile here: http://www.myngle.com/user/profile/index/id/6159

Hello everybody,

I’m Flora and I’ve been part of the Myngle team since February, an incredible experience for me. I discovered it by chance while I was looking for online teaching schools. In fact, I wanted to get professional training since I was trying to pass very difficult exams to become an English teacher in France, in “L’Education Nationale”. I had already an experience in individual teaching, but mostly for teenagers, so Myngle presented me a new opportunity and a tough challenge, that of teaching grown-ups, especially since I was teaching my own native language. This was all new to me but I actually entertained myself and realized how rewarding and promising it all was. I deeply believe that I finally passed my exams thanks to this experience and I’m very grateful about it.

I hold a Master in foreign languages (English) as I studied English and American literature and civilization, and I got specialized in African American Literature and Post-Modern writing (parody, rewriting, deconstruction, intertextuality, etc.). I’m so fond of African American culture that I’d like to develop and promote this kind of thematic courses on Myngle, so that the experience would be as concerned with culture as with linguistics. It may attract more university students as well. Anyway, I’m very pleased to be part of it and I have true faith in this enterprise. I’m looking forward to seeing how it will evolve.
