Quality teaching with Myngle’s ’shared courses’.
Do you want to start teaching but you do not have your own lesson material (yet)? Myngle helps!
To assist teachers in their Myngle experience, there will be a few courses ready for you to use, what we call “shared courses”. So far we will open a Mandarin course that you can use, it’s on Myngle beta under username ‘Danilo Myngle. If you are invited to our closed beta already you will be able to see the material.
Just click on “Add to my courses” and it’ll be under your name as well for you to use on your classes. We’ll continue to build and add more courses to it, so check back often.
Later we will create more courses in French, Italian and other languages!
Meanwhile, you can also find lesson templates we created especially for you. With these slides all you will need to do is translate the text on it from English to your own language.
You can also make use of lessons which other teachers use, but only from those who have chosen to make their lesson material public, and possible for other teachers to use. Please see below 2 reasons to share your lesson materials.
2 reasons to share your lesson materials with others (but you do not have to do that)
If you share your material with other teachers, you can have the advantage that the other teachers using our material will improve and add to it. This way you can have more help in creating your own perfect course, better for you and for students!
Also, if a group of teachers is using the same material with positive results (that is: lessons with very good feedback from students), they can apply to become all together a MyngleTown. (school or group on Myngle).
That will give special visibility to the group of teachers, plus the teacher who initially shared the material that is used will have additional visibility within the MyngleTown as originator of the program. And….additional visibility means more students booking your lessons. You can even become your own brand as a MyngleTown.
Have fun Myngling!
