		<description>One aspect of language learning I find fun is the uniqueness of a particular language. How language reflects a culture and it's values. Why, for example, in Japanese do the words "hot" and "thick" have the same phonetic sound "atsui." For me learning vocabulary this way has a certain stickiness which helps retention. I guess it is a kind of "did you know...?" strategy which creates one sort of need to learn. Doesn't do much for fluency tho:).</description>
