Culture and language are interactive - Ever so often it is being said that German is a hard language to learn. Yet every year, many people strive to learn our language for very different reasons. Here, you will gain an insight into what it is that really constitutes German society and how we bring language and culture into concept. After completion of the course, you will have acquired a basic understanding of the German language and be able to make yourself understood in various situations. This course is ideal for those who either seek to study German further to an intermediate level or who are planning to travel to a German speaking country. - - - In order to take this course, you should speak and read English or French. Well, that is simply not the case. In Lesson 07 you will learn how to identify the gender of a random noun by following a couple of rules (i.e. function, ending, etc.). It is really not that difficult and you will receive plenty of exercises to help you on the way to mastering this most essential part of German grammar. Remember: If you get the gender right, you are more likely to place your nouns and adjectives into the correct Case!
