TOOL FOR LEARNING SPANISH ONLINE
Instituto Cervantes created a very helpful tool for learning Spanish online called the Spanish Virtual Classroom (AVE). This is an Internet-based program to provide Spanish courses. You can enter the classroom at any time you like during 120 days. AVE students are free to choose the time, pace and place of study. With the AVE courses you will:
The Spanish Virtual Classroom courses exist in four levels Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Proficiency. On completing Proficiency Level you have acquired the communicative abilities of native speakers of Spanish. You must take the AVE on-line level test unless you are a complete beginner (in which case there is no need). To do the test please go here.
SIMPLE, EASY-TO-FOLLOW STRUCTURE
Keeping a simple, easy-to-follow structure will allow you to complete the learning units in short periods of study time, the levels are sub-divided into courses, which are further broken down into lessons. Each level consists of tests, exercises, graphic adventures, cultural content and supplementary materials such as grammar, vocabulary, phonetics and spelling. INDEPENDENT, FLEXIBLE STYLE OF LEARNING
The AVE employs an independent, flexible style of learning where you can set your own work pace and the amount of time you spend on the course. Thanks to the multimedia resources, learning is dynamic. If you successfully finish any of the AVE courses you will receive a certificate stating that you have done so.
